3. Casino

Sikkim and Goa are the only 2 states in India that allow gambling. So if you visit Goa, visiting the casino is a must! Many hotels have a small casino attached or you can also visit the larger water based casinos on river Mandovi. If you take a liking to the casinos, then you can easily spend the entire day on the casino boats which keep their guests entertained and occupied with tasty food and entertainment as you set your stakes high!

The fort was initially used as a border watch post by the Portuguese. The beautiful structure is flanked by the sea on one side and the river on the other, giving breathtaking views from the top.

Another beautiful fort in Goa is Fort Aguada. Located next to the Sinquerin beach, it has also been a favourite location for many Bollywood movies.

There are many interesting flea markets in Goa. You can find almost everything here  – artefacts, spices, crafts, jewellery, trinkets, clothes, musical instruments and more. The variety and heavy bargains make them a shopper’s delight. Infact, one can find plenty to eat in these colourful markets as well, so much so that some places have become famous eating spots!

7. Visit beautiful churches

Feni is a type of Goan liquor which is produced exclusively in Goa and thus becomes a speciality. Feni is either made of coconut of cashew nuts. You can find plenty of shops in Goa, especially Panjim where you can buy this exclusive Goan liquor.

Apart from the beautiful beaches, you must visit the Dudhsagar falls and the wildlife sanctuaries of Goa.
